Professional MICE Facilities

As a premier venue for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE), CAAS offers well-equipped facilities designed to meet the diverse needs of academic and professional gatherings. Our building encompasses 1,278 m² of dedicated meeting and working space. It is meticulously designed to facilitate knowledge exchange, collaborative research, and academic excellence. All activities are supported by our professional and dedicated team who will assist you in your work and ensure that your gathering runs smoothly.

Conference Hall Specifications

Our flagship venue for major academic events features a spacious 126 m² hall with theatre-style seating for up to 110 participants. The hall is equipped with professional-grade audiovisual systems and advanced simultaneous translation equipment supporting three languages, making it ideal for international conferences, symposia, and plenary sessions.

Atrium - Versatile Event Space

The expansive 320 m² Atrium serves as a multifunctional open space, perfectly suited for poster sessions, exhibition displays, networking events, coffee breaks, and informal academic discussions. Its generous dimensions and natural lighting create an inviting atmosphere that encourages scholarly interaction and collaboration. The Atrium can accommodate various seating arrangements and is equipped with mobile presentation technology to adapt to diverse event formats.

Comprehensive Lecture Room Portfolio

CAAS boasts 12 fully-equipped lecture rooms distributed across two floors, offering flexible capacity ranging from 30 to 60 participants. Each room is designed with academic pedagogy in mind, featuring ergonomic seating, optimal acoustics, and climate control for extended learning sessions. The total lecture room capacity exceeds 540 participants, enabling simultaneous parallel sessions for large-scale academic events.

All lecture rooms feature modular furniture and movable seating that can be quickly reconfigured by our professional staff to match your event requirements. Our team will arrange the room layout prior to your session, ensuring optimal setup for your specific needs. Each configuration maximizes the space differently to support various academic formats and learning outcomes.

Theatre Style

Rows of chairs facing the front, ideal for lectures, presentations, and keynote addresses. Maximizes room capacity for one-way knowledge transfer.

Setup: Chairs arranged in straight rows facing the podium, no tables. Highest capacity configuration.

Classroom Style

Rows of tables with chairs, perfect for workshops and training sessions requiring note-taking and active participation with materials.

Setup: Tables arranged in rows with chairs facing forward. Provides writing surface for each participant. Medium capacity.

Round Table

Circular table arrangements facilitating interactive discussions, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative group work with face-to-face interaction.

Setup: Multiple round tables with chairs arranged around each. Promotes discussion and collaboration. Lower capacity but maximum interaction.

Room Configuration Process

To ensure your room is set up exactly as needed, please specify your preferred configuration when booking. Our facilities team will:

  • • Rearrange furniture according to your selected layout
  • • Position audiovisual equipment appropriately for the configuration
  • • Adjust lighting and climate control for optimal comfort
  • • Complete all setup prior to your scheduled start time

Note: Configuration changes can be made between sessions with advance notice. Capacity varies by layout - theatre style accommodates the most participants, while round table arrangements optimize interaction over quantity.

Dietary Accommodations & Allergen Information

Restaurant Atrium maintains comprehensive allergen tracking for all menu items, complying with EU food information regulations. We accommodate various dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher, and halal preparations.

All menus are customizable. Please inform us of specific dietary needs, allergies, or religious dietary requirements at least 48 hours before your event. Our culinary team can adapt recipes while maintaining nutritional quality and flavor profiles.
